I have a fuel gauge that give different readings at different times i.e jumping about all over the place and so is unreliable.
What is the best plan to follow to bring it back into some sort of order? Any help most welcome.

Re: Errant fuel gauge
It depends on the age of your car, if its a 1098 with the black speedo and gauge it should be steady as it has a stabliiser fitted. If its an earlier car with gold face speedo just get used to it and check the fuel gauge when its parked!!
