Well, Whit is 20tpi and unf 27 tpi also at a quarter dia.I think the former is way too coarse and the latter a fraction finer than I have measured.
At 26 tpi the BSF thread is pretty dashed close to unf at 27 tpi though.
Even the old British cycle thread appears to be close at 26 tpi with an angle of 60 degree form.
Your local moggie dealer will have the right nipples in, even if the memory of the thread form has been lost in the mists of time.
I decided to fit right angled units as I struggled a little to access some of the straights with my grease gun.

Well either the 1/4 BSF ones I ordered on eBay are wrong, or there larger than that on my cars trunnionsmoggiethouable wrote:1/4 bsf, (26 tpi) for the nipples on the upper and lower trunnions.Assuming Tom Roy gave me the right ones saturday gone, which I am pretty sure they did.
The water pump I aint sure yet, but as said may not now be relevant.
Having said that, the front suspension legs were replaced with new ones when the car was rebuilt so who knows what size there using now

As I am going to get a few of each, if you send me a pm I will pop a set in the post for you when they get here.
Unf by the way is just 1 tpi out from bsf, so pretty dashed close but no coconut for me.
regards Dick.
