The header rail at the front is bolted to the metal frame, so is the rail at the rear, it's bolted to the body.

But

I don't think you can unbolt the front one (I can't remember how it fastened on when I changed my hood). You can take a look, but you may end up having to pull all the nails out under the cover strip

It may be simpler to use a glue patch with the hood on the car or it may become a big job, removing and refitting the hood
Our other car is a 2009 Citroen C6 3.0 HDi a 'future classic' and far rarer than a Morris Minor!!

The 'moggie' has been replaced with another 'classic' a 1953 Citroen Traction Avant 11BL

Hi, there are no bolts on my 1961 ragtop, rear wooden section is screwed to the bodywork with self tapping type screws, front wooden section is fixed with standard wood screws to the frame with several nails that tidy up and finish the fit of the hood. Hood could be removed by just removing the rear self tappers, two bolts on the frame hinges and two wing bolts that hold the front of the hood to the car. I would not consider removing the hood from the frame as would be a nightmare to re-fit, if you can sort it while on the car would do so, if you need to take it off I would leave it on the frame and would not disturb the front/rear wooden sections.
