I sucked the pipe and was like complete blockage and when i tried to move the unit by hand there was no movement.
And seemed worn out. Best way i can describe. By the way it is the metal screw on vacume pipe.

Hello BMC
Just a quick note to say Thanks for great advice on my distributor.
And suggested that i buy a distributor rather than just a vacuum unit As if i had would have been a fiddle and would not have mended a worn out distributor.At the same time.
It arrived today Complete with points condenser and rota arm All ready to go!
And saved me by being kind enough to send me a link straight to the shop.
It was £40.00. Excellent value. Its now fitted and am chuffed to bits.
