SU carb AUD 9203

I've just removed what I think is a 1 1/4" SU carb from my 1971 1098cc MM. It has AUD 9203 on the float bowl.

Can anyone please tell me if this can fitted to a 1958 998cc MM (I've got a feeling the jet needle would need to be changed?)

Do you mean a 948 Minor?
Both the later 948 and the 1098 Minors had an HS2 carb. The standard needle with a 948 was an M, and with a 1098 was an AN. Before you go changing needles check them on the comparison chart http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/suneedle to see how much difference there is between the needles

I was getting my Minors (948s) confused with my Minis (998s) there...thanks for the link

Fit it complete with the later 1098 manifold if you can....
