Bottom radiator hose

I'm having problems refitting the bottom radiator hose.
I've replaced the original engine with a 1275 ital engine and now find that the spur from the bottom hose that connects with the heater circulation only just reaches the heater pipe. I guess the block is slightly taller??
Is there a different bottom hose I can use?

Yes - it is 3/8" taller -and 3/8" longer! Just get rid of the brass pipe and run a rubber pipe direct.
