thanks, not quite sure why I did that thinking about it. confused it with the diagram BM sent me, anyhow wipers restored.

B+ could be for usage on a more modern vehicle fitment which uses the battery voltage as a comparator against load applied to regulate the output in a more efficient manner.(bit like the 2 stage output of the dynamo regulator box, but 70 years hence! IGNORE IT!!. As long as you connect the two terminals with nice thick wire properly crimped into "yellow" gauge female terminals, with similar ring tongues at the solenoid end, and hook the little spade to the ignition light, it will work admirably!
