restoring a pick up

Hi all , just wanted some advice

what is the best book to get to aid me in restoring a morris pick up

I have Ray newells original morris minor

and the practical classic restoring a morris minor ( covers a car and traveller)

But i want specifically for a pick up - as the one i am looking at has bits missing and i would love something to refer to whilst restoring it

have a read through david miles' restoration threads on this site.
also, get an original BMC workshop manual.
a hanynes manual can sometimes be useful, but not often.
most importantly (i didn't :p) Lable everything when it comes off!

Another thing is to take lots of photos, even if you are sure you will remember how things were. Photos are a wonderful memory aid. Digital cameras and car restoration go well together.

And, as a relative newcomer here, I can tell you that this forum is very active and very friendly. If you get stuck on some detail someone is nearly certain to come forward and help you out. Ditto on the genuine BMC manual -- it is excellent. Easy to get on the web.

There's not many of the books which give good details of the commercials as far as restoration go. the Lindsay Porter book, Guide to purchase and DIY registration is a good book, but only two pages specific to the LCVs.
However, any particular info you need, just ask on here. I and others, have plenty of photos of ones in bits showing what goes where etc...
