See the excellent wiring diagram at the top of this section. Print it off and laminate it if you can - and keep a copy in the car.

The wipers are not working because you have disconnected the green wires from the B terminal on the voltage stabiliser on the back of the speedo.
Blue/White wire warning light to Blue light left side of speedo
Green/Yellow wire warning light to Amber light left side of speedo
Green/Brown wire warning light to Amber light right side of speedo
Brown/Yellow-White wire warning light to Red light right side of speedo
Red/White wire panel lights in two remaining holes

Theres a spade connection with two green wires from it. A green/yellow wire, green/purple wire and finally a green wire that is only connected on the speedo

On the back of the speedo there is a voltage stabilizer at the top with 3 green wires to the input B terminal which acts as a junction box, and one light green wire from the output I terminal to the fuel gauge at the bottom of the speedo. A green/brown wire connects the other terminal on the fuel gauge to the fuel tank.
The only green/purple wires should be from the brake light switch to the brake lights

The diagram is completely obvious - it's a simplified version of the original, nicely colour coded and laid out by Barry . Well worth studying it and learning how it all works....... Invaluable in a break-down situation.

Unless you are planning to transmit to the World - the dynamo will manage ok........ But of course, most wireless sets these days are -ve earth, so your car will need to be converted if not done so already.....
