More garage woes...........that starter motor that has been turning really well is now just clicking? Any ideas?

Also good spark at the plugs but she is not firing, engine is turning and the oil light even goes out, but its not firing.

I have a rebuilt HIF 44 carb and an airtek fuel pump but does not seem to fire

Any help welcome

My Traveller has the earth strap between the gearbox and gearbox crossmember and my Series MM has the earth strap from the battery earth strap on the battery box to the rear exhaust manifold stud. Most MMs use the rear head stud.

Pour an egg cup of petrol down the carb throat - and crank it. If it doesn't start - the spark must be happening at the wrong time ! Move the HT leads round until it does start.....remember 1342 anticlock around the dizzy cap.

Yes - just to prove if it will run with a guaranteed supply of petrol.
