Wiper motor help

Wipers go up and down very slowly only once then stop can the motor be stripped and repaired easily or will I have to buy a new one

hello it could be the voltage stabiliser on the back of the speedo thts what it was for me myte be a try

Really?
The wipers don't get power through the stabiliser normally.

I'd suggest taking the top of the wiper motor after marking the position of the round bit and replacing the dried up brown grease with nice fresh stuff as the first port of call.

It's absolutely NOTHING to do with the voltage stabiliser........why would it be ?? And yes - as Marky suggests - open it up and thin out the grease. But also - dribble some oil down the spindles in front of the windscreen. If it still doesn't go, you may need to pull the rack out and grease it - and perhaps consider a new set of brushes.
