Soundproofing
Just wondering, there must be a post somewhere, has anyone ever soundproofed their car and if so how & what did you use ?

Re: Soundproofing
I used "brownbread" (you can google and find it) on my MGB GT I covered every internal surface - it did a good job and made the car much quieter. You can get even better stuff with lead and foam sandwiches but it is expensive.

This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.
Re: Soundproofing
i used stuff called noisekiller in my pick up all over the bulkhead and footwell and then special stuff where the floormats go in the footwell. i dont know if it makes it any quieter,i it definatley stops the rattling and higher pitched tinny noise, but i think it has now caused a lower humming noise in the pick up.... i hav bigger exhaust and air cleaner so it was noisier anyway
i ought to go check someone elses pick up and check the difference!
