Changing steering wheel...

Post by Arthurdaily »

Hi, my steering wheel has a massive crack! So trying to source a new one - will ANY morris minor one fit my standard 1971 1098 saloon?

Thanks!

Quite fancy a 'banjo' style...!

Either can be fitted - but the plastic two spoke is correct for that age.

Yes, and the rest of the car i have rebuilt 'standard' for 71 - but I quite like the three spoke ones... it just slips on with the came splines, bolt and central horn push then?

:D

No bolt - large nut. Same splines.

The flat 3 spoke wheel from a Series MM/2 will not fit as it has a keyway location, not spline
