Bottom hose

Hi,
Have just getting back after a run,no problems but come to check under the bonnet and found that bottom hose was cold.The heaters work and is not overheating system has been bledas the top hose is hot could this be a fault with water pump.
Any ideas.

if i understand you the top hose is hot and the bottom is cold?

if so you have no problem.. hot water goes into the rad at the top, cools at it travels down the rad and goes back into the engine from the bottom cold..
