Re: Spotted today.
Glad no ones spotted me yet! Been recovered twice in the last 2 weeks, once in Gaffa, the Rose Taupe van from the M6 with suspected head gasket, and then on Thursday whilst towing a Minor pickup to the NEC and had a puncture with the Land Rover and then discovered the spare was flat... Got two recovery trucks to take the LR and Minor to get a tube put in a tyre - most embarassing! [frame][/frame]
cheers

Re: Spotted today.
Hi all,
Up visiting the girlfriend in Loughborough and decided to visit the Quorn Railway Station.
And what do you know...
Think it's seen better days. Was just lurking between two sheds. The back was full of spares and random bits and bobs. The tax disc was '00,' could that much rot have occurred just from sitting there for 10 years?
Then whilst on my way out, in the car park....
Again, it's suffering from the rot. It didn't have a tax disc on but yet it didn't look to have been sat there for an overally long period of time. Both trafficators had been ripped it and one of the wings appeared to of had three different types of mirror attached at some point in it's life.
Anyways, if you're ever in the area and have half an hour to kill, its an interesting place..
Regards
Joe

Re: Spotted today.
The saloon is a '57 model and was last taxed in 2005, according to the DVLA.

Re: Spotted today.
Saw a panda car parked up along side the A45 Birmingham to Coventry Road when I was leaving the NEC on sunday evening. I did wave but it was dark. Not sure if it was a call of nature stop, broke down or waiting for someone else to catch up. I was towing and slightly lost so not in much of a position to help even if I had been on the same stretch of tarmac...
cheers

Re: Spotted today.
I remember the Minor on the stand - wasn't sure whos it was though. Hope he got back ok, I guess he made the same mess of getting out of the NEC as I did then as neither of us should have been on that stretch of A45
cheers

Re: Spotted today.
An almond green F-reg pick-up parked outside the music department on Nottingham university campus friday morning, I was rushing to a lecture so didn't get a good look, it had gone by the time I'd finished , then also passed a white traveller on the A60 last night, I flashed my lights and waved but the driver didn't see me
