How to remove Gear lever bush
Hi - Gear lever have a Play of my morris minor 1000 ,and not spring (not come back to middle position), so I decided To remove the gear lear and replace the bush ,then I Remove The 3 bolt screw and take out the gear lever , then I see the O- Ring of the lever has miss and not grease also - then I look the plastic bush under 1 inch and it tight not spring up and down- then I try to remove it ,( I pull up it using small hook - The bush has a small hole (middle of the plastic bush)- I put the hook to the hole and pull up) but can not remove - can you tell me how to remove the plastic bush and advice me[frame]

The bush should be fixed on the end of the lever - can only suggest perhaps screwing a long wood screw into it - and pulling hard! But - better get some new parts in stock before you do anything too drastic.

I have a New plastic bush( look number 50 - image), the bush that has set of my car is situated under 1 inch , not it spring up and down and tight -I don't know is it normal? how to replace it
