Hi
I've got a new cylinder head for my 948cc 1962, Moggie.
The replacement head from ESM, doesn't have any of the necessary studs: Manifold, Thermostat, Heater Tap-15 in all.
I have ordered a Stud Kit from DSN
I have never fitted studs before and am wondering what is the best way to fit them?
I am aware that they have different torque settings and I've got a torque wrench.
Have you any tips on the best way to fit them?
Best wishes
john

Also use thread lock (Loctite or similar) so they don't come out every time you get a tight nut!

You need something on your thermostat housing studs, or, like me, you will get coolant leaking up the thread.
