Re: 1098cc motor compression
Maybe in sunny South London, but here in the States it might not merit a second glance!

My thoughts exactly, where does the right to bear arms end? Nukes?

Re: 1098cc motor compression
Hey! We're actually pretty fussy about nukes over here. We require a permit, background check and 90-day waiting period. Now back to our topic: is 150 psi acceptable compression on a 1275?

No - not really - it's very much on the LOW side of acceptability.......

Re: 1098cc motor compression
And that must be checked warm, throttle open, and all plugs out, correct?

Re: 1098cc motor compression
I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere, but what would constitute an acceptable figure for a 1275? Thanks!

Re: 1098cc motor compression
Whoa...then mine is well shy of the mark! Thanks for that info. I have a Midget 1275...does that make much difference?

Re: 1098cc motor compression
Ah, that's MUCH more attainable!
Thanks, Roy.
