Its one where you cant change the bulb, you change the whole unit. They often say on the front of them, in the lense. If not take it out, and see if you can change the bulb or not.

Hello Arthur,
essentially it is a large self contained bulb. If you look at the filament through the glass front it is unenclosed.

I had to make a very early run a couple of weeks ago in darkness - and was pleasantly surprised how effective my sealed beam headlamps are. Perfectly adequate for the performance of the car.
