std exhaust with midget engine

hi. follow on to the last post. can i use the std exhaust with a 1275 engine and hif 44 carb? I am not worried if I koose a bit of performance and would prefer a standard exhaust look.

I have a 1275 with standard (948) exhaust. Works fine...but as I've never had a big bore exhaust, I have nothing with which to compare it.

It will work.....but........that HIF 44 won't help. Probably better with a single HIF38. Save the 44 for when you get a decent exhaust on it.
