Engine mounts

Post by moray »

Hi, does anyone know if the engine mounts are a different size between 948 and 1098 models.

I thought they where the same, but the guy at the body shop reckons they are different, and that is why the starter handle doesn't fit. He also says he checked a van and reckons it's different to my traveller.

Same mounts for all. Are the towers fitted right way round?

Is the problem too low (or high) engine - or is it that the radiator is too low and getting in the way?

It' can't really sit high - or the gearbox would foul the rack. But I believe towers wrong way round can cause it to sit slightly high.
