glove box refurb
does anyone know of a product to paint the inside of the glove box liners mine are fine but very tatty due to water ingress over the years,I could glue vinyl on but just wondered if there was something out there

I just sprayed mine with satin black paint.

I remember being shown a special spray gun when at college, to do the flock finish. Essentially you coat the surface with glue either brush or spray then load the special gun with the flock particles. it had a big nozzle and very low pressure and blathered the surface with the particles. After a suitable period of time, when the glue had set a bit you then shook off the surplus flock particles for reuse and it left the familiar fuzzy 'flock' finish on the surface.
Where you actually get this kit from I've no idea as its much easier to buy new glovebox liners from the specialists but It would be satisfying to recoat old ones and restore rather than replace....

seriously, though, i think the main problem would be the buckling of the cardboard caused bt the water.
i'd be tempted to make up a gig/former to put inside, spray with water from a household spray bottle and put in the airing cupboard to dry around the former
