rear floor panel

Post by jmaster78 »

Hi all, there are a couple of repair patches on the rear floors where they meets the back seat, unfortunately they cover the holes for the new hand brake cables (where the outer sleeve bolts on) so i'm going to replace the floors. Does anyone know where to get good fitting floor panels? and can you buy one complete rear floor section that also covers the shaft tunnel as it is a bit tatty as well? thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of a complete cross-floor repair section. Probably best to leave the tunnel in place - and just do one side floor at a time.

You will need to get 2 floor panels, and to my knowledge no one manufactures a replacement transmission tunnel. A bit of home fabrication called for! :D The panels are available from any morris suppliers.

I can't imagine the tunnel being rotten - it's usually well oil soaked !
