Hi all
Just a quick question regarding the battery
Ive just bought a 2 door saloon and just bought a new battery my question is which way am i supposed to wire it?
Im assuming positive to earth and negative to the solenoid. From what i can see everything looks original.
Any help is appreciated

If it has a dynamo - then could be +ve earth. Is there no battery in the car at the moment? The terminals are different for each polarity - the +ve terminal is slightly larger internally - that could be a clue....... If it has an alternator it WILL be -ve earth, and if it has a wireless (unless a very old 'period' item) then it is likely also to be -ve earth. Don't connect it wrongly...
