Post by AJFMOTORENGINEERSLTD »

hi there- can anyone help me get some early top and bottom trunnions both sides for a 1950 sidevalve MM - or do i have to convert the car to later uprights?

I don't believe there is any difference - I recently rebuilt my front end and used standard trunnions from ESM. My car is an early Series II with MM front end, and they fitted just fine.

The stub axles are different on the Series MM and 1000 swivel pins. but the trunnions fit both swivel pins. If the swivels are worn then the conversion is on the Series MM website, Tech. Info.

The only different trunnions are the early brass ones which wear more than the later ones but still fit. They are really for show cars
