CALLING ALL LONDON MORRIS MINORS

To Whom it may concern,

Apologies for the impromptu posting, but this forum is my last hope. My name is Jack and both me and my girlfriend are huge fans of Morris Minor's. Our families both owned them when we were growing up. We are both graduates and have ventured out into the big bad world, working and living in London. It is here that we met and realised we had a shared passion for these beautiful cars.

This Saturday it is her birthday and we will be jumping in a taxi that evening to meet her friends at a bar in Putney (we live a few miles away). I had arranged for a Morris Minor owner to pick her up as a huge surprise and take her to the bar. Disaster strikes! The Morris Minor has blown a gasket and there is no guarantee it will be fixed in time! So now I am "Minor the Morris."

If there is anyone in London who would be prepared to take us on the 15 minute trip, I would be forever in your debt. This really would make her birthday truly rememberable. I am good friends with a popular wine merchant and would love to offer you a nice case of red or white by way of a thank you.

Thank you very much for your reply. Hopefully a fellow Morris Minor lover will come to my aid. Pick up would be 9:30/9:45ish. I have uploaded a photo of the journey. Google maps says its a 12 minute trip. Thanks again.
