help needed with wood on traveller
hi i am restoring my traveller but not sure on how to remove the sill between the door and rear wheel arch. i have the manual but still unsure. in the charles ware catalogue its the piece on page 110 item 12/12A MMT1018/MMT1019 many thanks suzanne

Do you mean the wooden section? If so Im afraid it doesnt come apart on its own, its part of the whole wooden side. Sometimes they are rotten and will almost fall out.

Remove the rear seat and the rear side trim - you will see the sill there inside the car. From below - the lower timber strut is covered with a plate held on with screws. At my first MOT with the car they told me it would need to be welded on - to wood ?? I had to show them the Manual to demonstrate it's just a cover ...........
