TDD 920 was my first moggie, a black 4-door saloon 1956 split screen. She must have been one of the last plit-screen saloons to be produced but was reistered "late" in May 1957. I bought her in 1967 and learnt to drive on her. Drove mile and miles with her, never really had a moments trouble and around 1969 I put a 948cc engine in. In 1975 we had to part following a disaster breakdown on the AI near Sheffield-as I was a very poor student and due to go to France for a working holiday I took the decision to sell to the garage which towed me off the A1.
I saw recently on direct.gov.uk that she's still on th road somewhere - does anyone know her ?? Hope she'found a good home, I see she changed colour - grey.
Will scan the slides I have of her and send them to the owner if she's found.
Many thanks,
Regards
Michael
