Valve Seats

On behalf of a friend...

Two of my valve seats have cracked. What are my options and how much should I be paying roughly?!

Valve seats ?? If you mean the cast iron head has cracked across valve seats - get another head! If you mean seat inserts have cracked - take it back to whoever fitted the seats - or if you don't know, get another head! This is only likely to happen (in either case) with serious overheating......
