the oil filler cap on primrose has mayo in it. she wasnt really used for nearly 2 months and sat outside waiting to be welded. the oil is adsa's 20/50 and she isnt losing any coolant.

just one of the things?

if your not losing water,then its just the cold weather the engine does not get hot enough to evaporate the waterthats produced by condensation .it will go when you take the car for a long run dont worry about it .

Didn't you say in another post that you do long runs? If so maybe it is not getting hot enough. Maybe try a higher rated thermostat or blank off part of your grille in this cold weather.

Remove the rocker cover and wipe it all away. Check all the breathers are clear - and one connected to the carb inlet and take it for a good blast! And yes in winter a higher stat is an excellent idea - and some judicious rad blanking is great too but don't over-do it! When I ran my Minor in winter I always removed the fan - in fact - I only ever fitted it when I was going to be towing something!
