Is there a diffrance between front wheel drive wheels and rear wheel drive wheels
I was told there was but cant remembure why
Is it to do with the offset

Re: Rwd or fwd wheels
Do you mean the difference between the actual wheels or the drive of the vehicle?

Re: Rwd or fwd wheels
FWD needs CVJs, to bring the centre line of the wheel into the best place I guess it needs rather more offset of the rim to achieve. than on a RWD car.

Re: Rwd or fwd wheels
I think the question has been answered, but in short:
there is technically no difference between the wheels, however due to front suspension and drive shaft design, FWD wheels tend to have larger offset.
This can lead to needing to use spacers when using FWD wheels on RWD cars - however as various cars share the same PCDs it is often possible to find FWD wheels with an offset that is better suited for RWD cars.
(for example Pug and Frod wheels with same PCD and differewnt offset - choosing the right ones to go on a modded Minor can sort out clearance isues)

Re: Rwd or fwd wheels
The only FWD car I know with 4" PCD is the Mini! So - how do you intend to fit these non 4" PCD wheels - or, are they Mini 13" wheels ?
