pattern parts, false econamy

i have just had to fit new shoes and cylinders on my car 2 years and 1200 miles after doing it last,
last time i reasoned that pattern parts had to be ok to be sellable and the price diff swung the deal for me , however 2 years later i have 4 leaking cylinders and 2 siezed ones.front and rear shoes show no wear but are soaked in fluid so are scrap
the point of my moan is patern parts are false econemy and on something as important as brakes the best possible parts only should be used.

Sobering tale - have you reported this back to the suppliers - and asked for a refund ?
