'Lucas' badged parts

Post by southerly95 »

On two recent occasion I have been sold items badged as Lucas which when they arrived clearly were not. One was on ebay when I bought two steering column indicator units for £35 each and the quality was definitely NOT Lucas. The other occasion was with a well known Morris Minor trader advertising front indicator lamp units, the flasher unit itself and a distributor arm as Lucas when again clearly they were not. In both cases these were refunded which is not the point. My time is wasted because I will not accept inferior goods and these dealers are using a good name which in my book is tantamount to deception.

Two cases of caveat emptor!

The Americans call Lucas 'The Prince of Darkness' - with good reason.

Try The Electrical Parts Company. All their stock is genuine Lucas.
