Trico Manual Windscreen Washer System

Post by Uncle Cib »

Hello all,

My 1956 Series II has a Trico manual windscreen washer bottle system fitted. Does anyone know if one can obtain parts for this system still? The top outlet (90 degree) plastic elbow has snapped off mine. The bottle is square plastic, with a TRICO logo triangular filler cap on the top. I know I am asking a lot here as it isn't even a Morris part.

Hey ho . . . it's worth a try.

Give me 48 hrs and I might have one. I've got a new one of those jars (light grey plastic lid) and might have some extra bits. Fingers crossed.

I've had a look and it seems that there is a small, grey 90 degree elbow on it. B&Q sell such 90s but in plain clear plastic without the thicker part and I think it is also used in fishtanks. I'd recommend going to B&Q and then moulding some grey putty or body filler to recreate the shape. I've got a complete unit here but it is in one piece and fairly
new (plus I want to keep it!!)[frame]Image[/frame]

Thank you Rob for your help. Your bottle is indeed the same as mine.
