Hi all,
I am trying to fit the fuel line from the tank to the pump.
my car currently doesn't have one fitted so I'm not sure of the route, particularly around the gearbox cross member.
I'm guessing it goes up and over, like the brake line on the other side.
Does anyone have a photo or diagram showing how it goes ?

Your assumption is correct i.e. up and over the gearbox cross member.Gentle curves, rather than sharp right angles and a strip of protective thick rubber hosing ( suitably slit length wise ).
Go for a position that allows the pipe and protective covering to sit comfortably below the level of the metal gearbox/ bulkhead cover that bolts down.
Hopefully someone might have a photo for you.

Re: fuel line path
Nothing to stop you running it along the edge of the inner sill - well away from crossmember etc - which will save a whole lot of bending - with associated risk of kinking the pipe

Re: fuel line path
I wander it it could be threaded inside the passenger side chassis rail in a similar fashion to the brake line on the drivers side, then out of the hole that was intended for the LHD clutch linkage and straight up.
If you wanted to be fancy I bet you could fit a fuel filter and supplementary pump to avoid vapour lock. if you do this make sure its all WELL ventilated!
