need help

Post by grandad1945 »

I don't actually own a Minor if I did I would not need help.

I am on the committee of NAODS an amateur dramatic society in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. In October we are staging a musical, Our House, the music is all Madness including "I've been drivin' in my car".

You've guessed that the car in question is a Morris Minor - previously owned by the Post Office in Newcastle!!!!!!

We need at least the front end of said car on stage, can anyone help with the loan or donation? Alternatively do you know where I could acquire something within our locality.

Hopeful in anticipation

How do you know me?
Yes it is the Arts Centre, we can get in through rear fire door/back dressing room. It would only be the body,or frony half of body we need, but at this stage I would accept any offe, Dave

If you work (or used to work) at Jaguar Cars then you are the guy I think you are - if not then I don't know you

I don't have a part of a car but I do have a full one - alternatively you may be able to bolt some front wings and a bonnet etc to a frame a use that?

There's one going at the Midland Art Centre. It's on Ebay at the moment.

Get in toutch with the Watford Palace - they are putting on Our House, and have a former 'Chitty Band Bang' enginieer on board so i'm told -
they may be able to sell you a car fully prepped for the stage once the run's over
