Anyone near Cambridgeshire got a van I could look at?

Post by stephenpolhill »

Hi there. We are looking at buying a van however would like to know how 'bouncy' the rear end is. My car is far to bouncy over bumps and general roads but what is the van like?
If anyone is in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire etc with a van, could I possibly come and have a look and a ride to judge this.
Thanks alot
Steve

Just J-j-j-jiggle it a bit.

Hi Steve we have a branch member who lives in Buntingford with a couple of commercials if thats any help.
Have you tried contacting the Bedfordshire branch to see if someone can help.
Cheers

Obviously the van has stiffer rear springs to carry the designed load - and tele dampers. Don't understand your 'bouncy' ?? Is your car sitting on the bump stops - and have you changed the oil in the rear dampers for good sae 40 ???

If it was sitting on the bump stops it would hardly be bouncing.
But more to the point have you got a van so he can judge the difference for himself, which is what Steve wants.
