Fan Belt

Post by andygill »

Hi

I need to replace the fan belt on my traveller.

The current one is a Powertrain PCFB 814.

The other number on it is 1088. Is this the length of the belt. It seems to be a lot longer than the standard belts sold by the usual suppliers.

Does anyone know of an equivalent, I'm struggling to find the Powertrain version.

Thanks

Even Hellfrauds may have one - but is it for a dynamo or an alternator ?

A quick look on the Quinton Hazel site shows an equivalent of QBA813

Have a look at http://www.quintonhazell.de/downloads/Q ... 96-336.pdf
Search for PCFB814 to find the QH part No. of QBA813. Then search for QBA813 to find other manufacturers codes. :D

I suspect the 814 is the centreline length in mm - the QH one being 813 long which is not significantly different!

Providing you have a dynamo and a standard crank pulley how long is your existing one that should be your ball park measurement if its longer than standard.
