Minor Developments wide wheels

Post by dorsetpickup »

In case this info has not been imparted before, the above co advise that there is only one 'wide' wheel in stock and once the remaining 40 rims have been welded and sometime in the future, that will be it, no more, for good.

these are the 5j (or was it 5.5?) anyway no matter, they are not the same as the LP936 or 917, which i was not aware of pre the phone call, so i am personally back at square one looking for a pair of 936's.

That or flog my pair and invest in 4 (or 5 to be safe) of the soon to be obsolete MD versions... (at 80 quid a pop)....

anyawya, just passing this on, which i have also posted on the lcv site.

a 936 is an inverted 917 ie the inner rim is welded the other way on a 936
i have only had 2 pairs in 20 odd years, but sold them about 4 years ago and gpt £400.00

I thought they had already stopped producing them so thanks for the update.
