replacing front grille chrome

Post by kjm »

hello

We are replacing the chrome around the front grille (not the hockey sticks but the thinner chrome around the aperture). Do we need to remove the front panel or can we do it with the panel in situ?

Thanks

Unless you have double jointed fingers I would suggest removing the panel or the radiator. Try it and see!

THanks MIke

We got the new chrome put on today. If it hadnt been for the 2 bolts on either side of the chrome, we could have managed to do it with the front panel left on, but as you advised, we ended up taking the front panel off. Car def looks better now. We just hope that this chrome lasts a bit longer than the stuff we put on a few years ago.

Thanks again
