DVLA - Anyone know how to contact them by email ??

Post by bmcecosse »

As title - DVLA are all for conducting business 'on line' - except they don't seem to give an email address to contact them - only expensive chargeable telephone links! Anyone got an email addy for them ? Roy

There are several email options and depending on your query I cant offer email address.
I checked some of the links on this page: http://www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/contactus.aspx
The medical one gives an actual link
The drivers enquiries has an email link that leads to the filling of a form culminating in the sending of an email as does the vehicle enquiries link.
On both you will have to navigate several links selecting ones that match your needs.

So not an actuall email address but I hope useful info to enable you achieve your aim

Regards
Rob

Thanks Rob - I will have a look at them!
Edit - I went into 'vehicle enquiries' - and it led to a form which should deal with my query - and hopefully will get me an answer. Thanks again for your tip!

Thanks both - Rob's contact method worked well - I got an email reply within 12 hours, confirming what I suspected, that I am NOT the registered keeper of my 6 month old 'modern' car! Of course they won't tell me who IS the keeper - but it is obviously the Dealer that sold me the car....... I am now hot on their tails! Roy
