HSJ 556 ??? Anyone know where she is?

Post by CharlesJones »

Hi everyone,

About 6 or 7 years ago I bought a 1952 or '53 (I'm not sure which) split screen off ebay. I ran her for about a year and then I very foolishly traded her in for nearly nothing for an old Porsche 911 which I maxed out every credit card to buy! I don't regret buying the 911 (I still have that now), but boy I regret selling the Morris! Since then I have occasionally browsed through ebay in the hope of her seeing there again, but alas, no luck. I was wondering if any of you knew of her whereabouts - I worry about what happened to her, and would love to know where she is now. She was a 2 door with reg. HSJ 556, in clarendon grey with the cheese-grater grill, and she answered to the name "Millicent". If any of you can help I would hugely grateful!

Many thanks,
Charles.

Thanks Rob - that's great to know she is still on the road. I didn't know you could look up details like that, but I've just found where you need to go on the DVLA site. That's a very handy feature - thanks for letting me know about it.

All the best,
Charles.
