silly but help needed

Post by Precious »

Ok so i bought new windscreen wipers for my split screen morris. I now have them and have no idea what to do with a black rubber plug that came with them. They are rex split screen wiper blades and arms. Any help would be awesome. :)

Cheers

Did you get them from a morris supplier? don't recognise the make.

REX is an old old make. The rubber plug should secure them to the arm, if they are the original arms of course...........

it simply pushes through the hole in the new blade after fitting them to the arms, and should have a groove round it to hold the plug in place

glad you got it sorted..

I was beginning to wonder if your car had been converted to use later arms and blades, i seem to recall a conversion kit being sold in the dim and distant past.

[frame]Image[/frame]The peg is 121 in the diagram. I would recommend fitting it the other way up so that it does not drop out.
