The ones on the side that say MORRIS 1000.
Has anyone got a technique for removing them without breaking the little pins that hold them on?

Re: Bonnet badges
I used lots of WD40 and pushed them in further before very gently wiggling and extracting, but the penetrating spray made a big difference, spray them and leave them for a day, then spray them again and see if it works...good luck

Re: Bonnet badges
Grab them with a pair of pliers gently and twist. You can get news ones if you break them though.

Re: Bonnet badges
Right, I've started soaking them and I'll attack them with the pliers at the weekend.
Anything to know about refitting them?

Re: Bonnet badges
I used short lengths of rubber tubing pushed on from the back. There are also proper badge fixings that are plastic which you push into the hole in the bonnet ( you will have to enlarge the hole ) and then you push the badge in

Re: Bonnet badges
Is that rubber tube with a tiny hole, or do you make a hole in the side with the pin?

Re: Bonnet badges
I stripped some outer covering from electric cable and pushed over the end of the pins
There are some of the proper fixings at this web address
http://www.bresco.com/acatalog/Badge_Fixes.html
The part looks like this you could push these over the pins without making the hole in the bonnet larger
