Standard for tappets is 12 thou, set cold.
Plugs 25 thou.

With unleaded fuel - set the exhausts to 15 thou clearance. Plugs 28/30 thou. And yes I would retorque the head to 45 ft lbf after the first heat cycle.

Thanks. I thought I had seen somewhere about using a bigger gap for the exhaust valves.

Do not forget the rocker shaft pedastals 25lbs/ft and tighten in the correct sequence
