Clutch shaft help required please! A big belated thanks
Hi folks, finally managed to get on with rebuilding my 1959 minor saloon and unfortunately after a 5 year gap since i stripped it all down i cannot for the life of me find the nut/ washers or whatever that should be on the end of the the pedal shaft which emerges through the outer edge of the chassis, nor can i remember or find diagrams that clearly show what should be there.
if anybody can help with any info on this it would be greatly appreciated as although i originally photographed evedrything as it came apart in the meantime i had a hard drive failure and lost the lot!
many thanks to anybody who even reads this post even if they can't help.

should just be a castellated nut + washer and split pin on the outer edge of chassis leg.
spacer tube goes next to the brake pedal on the rod inside the leg.
The picture is very good, but probably less good if you don't know what goes where!

5 is the assembly of 24,25,26.Ref Diagram. What are 24, 25 & 26 and why are they different to 5 & 29?
27 and 28 are rubbers that go on the pedal (mine usually have neither of them

Re: Clutch shaft help required please!
Sorry for the very long time in responding to all your very kind replies to this post but i haven't been able to access the forum since my last post on this thread and couldn't seem to be able to contact the administrators at the time to sort it out, however yesterday i managed to e-mail them and Jon Rocke has kindly replied and sorted it out for me.
all your replies have been most helpful and are greatly appreciated especially the diagram and that part of the job is now sorted so many thanks to you all.
Neil.
