quarter glass

Post by bnjmartin »

Does anyone have a tracing of the quarter glass for a 1960 MM tourer that they could mail to me? I have heard that the sedan is different. Not too many resources in California.

Do you mean the small opening front door 1/4 glass or the rear side 1/4 glass?

The quarterlight glass is the same for all Minors from 1951 onwards. The front doors are shorter on the 4 door and LCVs but the 2 door, convertible and Traveller all have the same size doors and therefore the side windows and frames are interchangeable. The only difference is that some window frames are chromed and some are painted

If the glasses are the same, I can trace out the glass from our '61 2 door and mail it to you. I have one out right now. Send me a PM with your mailing address.

I am asking about the rear fixed quarter glass. My parts book lists a separate number for that glass opposed to the sedan. Just need tracing. Will cut locally.I have the vent wing or wind wing, don't know the correct term in English.

It might be useful to post up a photo of the exact bit you need, then our differing versions of car parts will be overcome.
