Post by casey »

Hi Please can someone give me advice on whether the 2door saloon has different size doors to a 4 door saloon? If not can someone please advise how I can adjust the drivers door to fit properly? thank you :(

The 2 doors use a bigger door than the 4 doors - they are not interchangeable....

the doors are very very different.. not just a few millimetres more like a few centimetres

I could be wrong but from the sound of your posts the door almost fit, is this the case?

Hi
The door is a very bad fit and is increasingly difficult to close and it then, after a good slam, sticks out past the car body by about 1.5cm and there is also an extra plate screwed to the side of the door alongside the window area, the n/s door definately fits better. What do you think?

I assume from your other post that you have a 2 door..

I doubt a plate would extend the length of a 4 door back enough to fit a 2 door hole if that make sense..

Do you by any chance have a photo of the "offending" door?
