Fuel senders

Post by cloud »

Will a midget fuel sender work in a Morris Minor Traveler gas tank?? or any other sender for MGs, Triumphs or austin sprites. These are easy to get here in the states, I can mail order one I know but this would be quicker if possible.

hi, to my knowledge their are two types of sender used on the minors,an early type and a later type, the early type works with the gold face speedo and the later for the black face speedo.the later one also needs a small voltage regulator on the rear of the dial, they are not interchangable, electrical wise that is,anyway i dont know if any are the same as other bmc cars, hope this helps, graham

You could have a look at the Moss website to compare BMC parts numbers as they list MG and Minor parts. You don't have to buy it from Moss but their site's useful for this anyway.
