i had a similar problem with mine,and i tugged the two small wires on the coil and they came out,so new connectors and crimping tool runs like a watch fixed for less than a pound .

But it is a well-known fault for the rivetted connections on the coils to work loose - and then with oil/grime/engine start-up grease( :-? ) flying around - a poor connection can result!
